FreightBid is an AI-powered platform that automates freight rate quoting, carrier matching, load board monitoring, bid optimization, shipment tracking, and broker-carrier communication for freight brokerages and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).

Who is FreightBid for?

FreightBid is built for freight brokerages and 3PLs of all sizes. Whether you are a one-person brokerage doing 50 loads a month or a mid-size operation handling thousands, FreightBid scales with you.

How does the AI generate freight quotes?

FreightBid analyzes real-time market rates from DAT, Truckstop, and your own historical data. The AI considers lane-specific trends, fuel surcharges, seasonal patterns, day-of-week effects, and carrier capacity to produce an optimal rate. It continuously learns from your win/loss history to improve accuracy over time.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features in your chosen tier. No credit card is required to start.

How long does it take to get set up?

Most brokerages are up and running within 1-2 business days. If you use a supported TMS, the integration can be completed in hours. Our onboarding team walks you through the entire process.

Integration & TMS Systems

Which TMS systems does FreightBid integrate with?

FreightBid integrates with McLeod Software, TMW Systems, MercuryGate, Aljex, Tai TMS, Rose Rocket, Turvo, and AscendTMS. We also offer a REST API for custom integrations with any TMS.

Which load boards are supported?

FreightBid monitors DAT Power, Truckstop.com, 123Loadboard, and Convoy. The Professional and Enterprise plans include access to all supported boards simultaneously.

Can I use FreightBid without a TMS?

Absolutely. FreightBid works as a standalone platform. You can manage loads, carriers, and quoting entirely within FreightBid. Many smaller brokerages use FreightBid as their primary system.

Does FreightBid integrate with ELD providers for tracking?

Yes. FreightBid integrates with Samsara, KeepTruckin (Motive), Omnitracs, and Macropoint/FourKites for real-time GPS tracking. Carriers can also share location via the FreightBid mobile app.

Carrier Network

Can I import my existing carrier list?

Yes. Upload a CSV or connect your TMS and FreightBid imports your carrier profiles, including MC numbers, equipment types, preferred lanes, and contact information. We verify FMCSA authority and insurance status automatically during import.

How does carrier scoring work?

FreightBid assigns every carrier a dynamic performance score based on on-time delivery percentage, claims ratio, communication responsiveness, billing accuracy, and compliance status. Scores update after every completed load.

Does FreightBid verify carrier insurance and authority?

Yes. FreightBid checks FMCSA authority status, insurance certificates, and safety ratings before every dispatch. You receive alerts when a carrier's insurance is approaching expiration or their authority status changes.

Can carriers interact with FreightBid directly?

Yes. Carriers can accept loads, upload documents, provide tracking updates, and communicate with your team through the FreightBid carrier portal or via simple text message replies. No app download required for basic functionality.

Billing & Account

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new features. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my monthly load limit?

On the Starter and Professional plans, if you approach your load limit, FreightBid will notify you. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limit. We will not cut off access mid-month — we will work with you to find the right plan.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. FreightBid is month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time and your account remains active through the end of your current billing period. Annual billing is available at a 15% discount.

How is my data handled if I cancel?

If you cancel, your data is retained for 90 days in case you decide to come back. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted. You can request an export of your data at any time before deletion.
